At FilmFlick, we are dedicated to providing professional creators with factory-new, certified Canon and Sony flagship equipment. This policy clearly defines the procedures for returns and the coverage provided by the original manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring you shop with complete confidence.

1. Return Eligibility & Conditions

This policy covers general satisfaction returns for change of mind. If your product is defective, please refer to Section 4 (Warranty Claims).

Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Eligible Condition (Unopened): To be eligible for a full refund (minus shipping costs, if applicable), the camera body or lens must be unused, factory-new, and returned in its original, sealed, and undamaged packaging.

Ineligible Returns (Opened/Used):

  • Products showing signs of use, wear, or activation.

  • Items missing the original box, manuals, or accessories.

  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling.

Restocking Fee: Returns for opened but unused cameras or lenses will be subject to a 15% Restocking Fee, which will be deducted from your final refund amount. This fee covers inspection, testing, and preparation for resale.

2. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process

To initiate any return, you must first obtain an RMA number. Returns sent without a valid RMA number will be rejected.

  1. Contact Support: Email us at contact@filmflick.shop with your original order number, the product name, and the reason for the return.

  2. RMA Confirmation: Our team will review your request and issue a unique RMA number and detailed shipping instructions.

  3. Secure Packaging: The item must be returned in the original, protective outer shipping box. Ensure all original packaging materials are used to prevent damage during transit.

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a traceable, insured carrier for high-value items.

3. Refunds Processing

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days after delivery):

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the item's condition.

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund credit to appear in your account after approval.

4. Manufacturer Warranty Claims (Defective/Damaged)

FilmFlick is a certified reseller. We do not provide direct repair services. All claims for defects, malfunctions, or covered damage are processed directly through the manufacturer.

Warranty Coverage: All cameras and lenses are backed by the Original Canon or Sony Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty (typically 1 year). This warranty covers mechanical and electrical defects under normal use.

Arrival Damage/Defect: If your product arrives damaged or defective, you must contact FilmFlick within 48 hours of delivery. We will assist in coordinating the claim or replacement process with the manufacturer immediately.

Exclusions: The warranty explicitly excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper setup, unauthorized servicing, or conditions beyond the gear's weather sealing rating.
